The Board of Directors for NAEA is a group of dedicated and focused individuals from the Kalamazoo community working together to enhance educational opportunities for African American high school students in Kalamazoo County. The organization also provides academic support programs for middle and high school students.

The NAEA Board of Directors has four previous scholarship recipients who are valuable and committed to the success of the organization. There are three members that are second generation to the Founders and previous long-term Board members. Everyone on the Board is hardworking and passionate about the organization and keeping the legacy strong and alive.
